Just Cause 3, like the majority of titles releasing these days, will have a day one patch to tidy things up before you can wreck the place.
Coming in at 2.8GB (on PS4 at least), the patch will fix some mission bugs, audio issues and better optimize lighting. These day one patches are becoming more common around major releases these days, often ridding the game of its anti-piracy controls.
It wouldn’t be a Just Cause game without a little humour, here’s a sample of the notes:
- The Medician Department of Nature Conservation has pored over every inch of our beautiful island for cracks and removed them
- The Medician Department of Motor Vehicles has taken measures to acquire poorly-tuned vehicles and burn them
- The DRM has been given a refresher course in combat and spatial awareness as per the General’s recent mandate
- The Medician Department of Infrastructure has made some adjustments to certain roads to prevent traffic jams
Just Cause 3 releases 1 December for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
