ICC Pro Cricket 2015 confirmed for PC, iOS, Android

Last week, Disney India took to Sydney to announce ICC Pro Cricket 2015 for Windows PC, Android and iOS.

Developed by Indiagames, a “key brand” in Disney India’s Interactive, the game was described as “a cricket fan’s delight” in a recent press release.

“Globally, Disney is defined by innovation. We have always believed in leveraging technology to enhance the entertainment experience for consumers and we reflect this sentiment in all the products we develop in Disney India,” said Siddharth Roy Kapur, Managing Director of Disney India at the game’s launch event in Sydney last Friday, where Brett Lee took to the PC to demonstrate the game (above).

“The Interactive business of Disney India has produced an incredible game which sets the benchmark for cricket-based games globally,” Kapur added. “Cricket is amongst one of the most popular sports not just in India but across the world, and the ICC Cricket World Cup is the biggest possible celebration of the sport. We appreciate the support we have received from the ICC to be able to present this world-class game to Cricket fans on the occasion of the World Cup 2015.”

“Disney is one of the biggest names in entertainment and has a long history of great quality. The ICC is very excited to welcome Disney India on board for this brand new video game. We hope fans around the world will enjoy playing and interacting with the game, using all the features it has to offer, and that it will serve as a great accompaniment to the main event,” added Campbell Jamieson, General Manager of the ICC.

ICC Pro Cricket 2015 will be available as a freemium purchase on iOS and Android, and as a $9.99 USD release on Windows PC. A release date has not yet been named, but expect the game to be available around the same time as the actual ICC Cricket World Cup 2015.
