Halo TV show Season 2 debuts in February 2024

Ready, Cortana.

The Halo TV show Season 2 will debut in February 2024 on Paramount+, Paramount announced over the weekend. The season’s first two episodes will release globally on Thursday, 8 February 2024, in all countries where Paramount+ is available.

The news came alongside a new first-look trailer, which we’ve embedded below for easy viewing. Take a look and let us know what you think of it in the comments below.

From the trailer, it looks like Master Chief will be dedicating his efforts to make the UNSC aware of a Covenant attack on Reach… and as anyone who’s played Halo Reach knows, that’s not going to go well for us humans. Paramount added that the Chief will go “on a journey to find the key to humankind’s salvation, or its extinction – Halo.”

That’s the name of the show, you guys!

Halo Season 2 will star Pablo Schreiber as Master Chief, Natascha McElhone as Dr. Halsey, and the video games’ Jen Taylor as Cortana. The show is exclusive to Paramount Plus.

If you’re over in the USA, Paramount is sweetening the pot a little by making all nine episodes of Halo free-to-watch on YouTube ahead of the debut of Season 2. If you’re so inclined, you can start with the first episode here; the offer runs between 30 November and 31 December.

If you’re interested in spinning up a Paramount+ subscription to watch the likes of Halo, Star Trek Strange New Worlds, Star Trek Picard, Star Trek Lower Decks and non-sci-fi stuff like Yellowstone or Yellowjackets, a subscription will set Aussies back $9.99 AUD per month.

Halo heads to Paramount Plus in February 2024; we’ll have more on the season as it comes to light.
