Halo Infinite multiplayer gets new playlists this week

Slayer, Fiesta, FFA and SWAT will be accessible from 15 December.

Halo Infinite multiplayer will add four new playlists later this week, letting players access the game modes they want to play in a fast and efficient way.

From 15 December here in Australia, Infinite will add Slayer, Fiesta, FFA (free for all) and SWAT playlists, 343 Industries recently confirmed.

“I’m happy to report that a Slayer playlist is officially locked and loaded for the update next week,” 343’s Brian Jarrard wrote on Reddit. “Four new playlists: Slayer, Fiesta, FFA, and Tactical Slayer (SWAT) will all be added via a services update on Tuesday, Dec. 14 [in the USA].

Moreover, Jarrard said that “the team’s original plans for a Slayer playlist included a variety of new variants that weren’t going to be ready in time to deploy before the holiday break. To address player feedback for Slayer in the near term, we’ll be releasing a basic Slayer offering to start and will look to bolster and expand with more variants in a future update.”

343 Industries has yet to return Stevivor’s request for comment on high ping suffered by Aussie players, but we’ll update you as soon as we hear back.

Halo Infinite is now live on Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X. Check out our Halo Infinite review here and our collectibles guide here.
