Halo Infinite campaign co-op: 2-player split-screen, 4-player online

Halo Infinite campaign co-op details have been confirmed by 343 Industries after some confusion over the weekend.

Jerry Hook, 343’s Head of Design, took to Twitter to clarify.

“Hey everyone I saw some reports of campaign supporting 4 player Split screen for campaign and just want to correct,” he wrote. “Halo Infinite will be supporting 2 player split screen and 4 player online co-op for campaign. Sorry about the confusion.”

343 also quashed rumours that Infinite‘s multiplayer would be delayed beyond launch, though at present it’s unclear how many people can play together on the same console.

Halo Infinite doesn’t have a specific release date as yet, but the shooter is expected at the launch of the Xbox Series X this holiday season. We’ll continue to update you on the Master Chief’s latest adventure as more is known.
