Grand Theft Auto Online doesn’t need PS Plus this week

Grand Theft Auto Online can be played without an active PlayStation Plus membership on PS4 until 6 August, it was today confirmed.

The free-play is to celebrate GTA Online‘s newest update, After Hours. For those unaware, the new content sees the return of fan favourite, Gay Tony.

The catch here is that access to Grand Theft Auto Online requires a copy of Grand Theft Auto V on PS4. And, you know, internet because of the Online bit.

Grand Theft Auto Online and its new After Hours update are both available now on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4.
