Google Stadia acquires Journey to the Savage Planet studio

Google Stadia has today acquired Journey to the Savage Planet developer Typhoon Studios.

“Under the leadership of its co-founders, Reid Schneider & Alex Hutchinson, Typhoon Studios has built an incredible team of industry veterans who are committed to the player experience. The Typhoon team will be joining our first Stadia Games and Entertainment studio that is based in Montreal and led by Sébastien Puel,” Stadia’s Jade Raymond said in a statement.

Journey to the Savage Planet will head to Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4 on 28 January 2020. We recently interviewed Typhoon’s Alex Hutchinson about the game; you can read that here.
