We could be getting an Eevee Pokemon Tamagotchi

A leaked image making the rounds on Twitter suggests Nintendo is planning a Pokemon Tamagotchi collaboration.

Serebii reports unconfirmed rumours suggest a special Eevee Tamagotchi will be announced soon, likely to coincide with the release of Let’s Go Pokemon Eevee and Pikachu on 16 November.

Tamagotchi made something of a comeback last year to celebrate its 20th anniversary, with the Eevee version said to be the 2010 Tamagotchi Nano. There are two models, a brown and more colourful skin, and it’s said to include all eight evolutions of Eevee.

During the global peak popularity of Tamagotchi in the late ’90s, Nintendo released its own version of virtual pocket pets as Pocket Pikachu.
