Free-to-play Neverwinter MMO headed to Xbox One next month

Yesterday, Perfect World Entertainment and Cryptic Studios announced a release date for the upcoming, free-to-play Neverwinter MMO for Xbox One.

Coming to the console 31 March (requiring Xbox Live Gold), the free-to-play MMO will feature content from the base game in addition to elements of “Scourge Warlock and Tyranny of Dragons.” Having been optimised for Xbox One, Neverwinter will make use of the console’s friends list and feature a control scheme suited to the controller.

Neverwinter was released on PC in 2013 and was announced for consoles in July 2014. It was released for Xbox One in China in September 2014. A PS4 release date has not yet been announced.

Neverwinter will be available for Xbox One on 31 March.
