Free standalone Fast & Furious expansion headed to Forza Horizon 2 on Xbox next month

Microsoft and Universal announced a crossover between the Fast & Furious franchise and Forza Horizon 2.

Coming to both Xbox 360 and Xbox One in March is a free (for a limited time) standalone expansion to Forza Horizon 2 that “will put players behind the wheel of iconic vehicles from the Fast & Furious film series” including cars from the upcoming Furious 7.

Forza Horizon 2 Presents Fast & Furious does not require players to own or even have played Forza Horizon 2 and will be free from 28 March until 11 April. After 11 April the expansion will cost $13.45 AUD.

Forza Horizon 2 Presents Fast & Furious will feature the same open world gameplay as Forza Horizon 2 and will feature Fast & Furious mechanic Tej Parker (as voiced by Ludacris) tasking players with acquiring vehicles for the crew. Set in the south of France, challenges will be inspired by both the game and film franchises.

Vehicles features in Forza Horizon 2 Presents Fast & Furious include the 1970 Dodge Charger R/T, 2012 Nissan GT-R. 2013 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited and many more. Players will unlock new vehicles by completing challenges.

Forza Horizon 2 Presents Fast & Furious will be available for Xbox 360 and Xbox One on 28 March.
