Forza Horizon 4 to feature Edinburgh but not London

Forza Horizon 4 will feature Edinburgh but not London, developer Playground Games has confirmed.

The news comes from a recent hour-long livestream that focused on spring, just one of the game’s changing seasons. In it, Playground Games’ Ralph Fulton said that London is “absolutely massive and incredibly unique.”

Because every building in central London is different, it’s proven to be too much work to recreate. Instead, Playground Games has chosen to concentrate on Edinburgh, a smaller city that Fulton said was equally iconic.

You can watch the full livestream below.

Forza Horizon 4 heads to Windows PC and Xbox One as part of the Xbox Play Anywhere program. The title will also be available to Xbox Game Pass subscribers at launch. Back at E3 2018, Fulton told Stevivor that Forza Motorsport‘s temperature systems will, for the first time, be introduced into the Horizon franchise.
