A Fortnite Avengers: Endgame crossover event has been confirmed by Epic Games.
The confirmation came in the form of a teaser tweet showing off a Fornite character wielding Captain America’s iconic vibranium shield. The post was accompanied by the movie’s marketing tagline, “Whatever it takes.” And that’s it, folks — we don’t know anything further, including mode details nor a release date.
Last week, dataminers found evidence that Endgame‘s baddie, Thanos, would return. A special event timed for Avengers: Infinity War found players able to take control of Thanos to wreak havoc on the battlefield. It’s likely that event will continue alongside Avengers-themed skins. We’ll of course keep you posted as we learn more.
Fortnite is available on Windows PC, Xbox One, PS4, Switch, iOS and Android devices, while Avengers: Endgame heads to theatres on 25 April.
