Fortnite has added Star Wars‘ lightsabers after a special screening of a clip from Star Wars The Rise of Skywalker.
While lightsabers were plentiful after the special event, those that jump into the game now will only be able to acquire them through special Star Wars crates littered throughout the in-game environment. You can check out what the crates look like below.

Originally, Epic and Disney had planned on distributing a special unlockable, the TIE Whisper glider, to those what watched the special Rise of Skywalker clip, but server issues have resulted in the gift being disributed to anyone who plays Fornite.

Fortnite is currently available on Windows PC, Xbox One, PS4, Switch, iOS and Android devices. Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker heads to theatres on 19 December.
