First Halo Infinite multiplayer technical test coming “soon”

Make sure you've registered as a Halo Insider if you want a chance to play!

The first Halo Infinite multiplayer technical test will take place “soon”, according to developer 343 Industries.

Taking place “as soon as next weekend” — which is actually this coming weekend — the technical test will be open to a limited number of Halo Insiders.

343 confirmed the test will focus on the Halo Waypoint web and mobile companion alongside UI for the game’s Battle Pass. Challenges and customisation come with those two key areas of testing.

Daily content offerings will be populated with players and bots as part of a 4v4 Bot Arena playlist. Four real-life Spartans will take it to bots on three maps: Bazaar, Recharge and Live Fire. Bots will either be Recruits, Marines, ODST or Spartans, with each level offering higher challenge.

To be eligible to take part, you’ll need to register to become a Halo Insider right here. We’ll let you know when the multiplayer technical test is actually taking place.

Halo Infinite heads to Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S & X and Xbox Cloud Gaming later this year, part of Xbox Game Pass.
