F1 22 release date set for 1 July, will offer VR

Get excited!

The F1 22 release date has been set for 1 July, with EA and Codemasters also confirming the title will offer VR support.

The title also offers “the sport’s stunning new cars and a new handling model that recreatesthe intense wheel-to-wheel racing that’s had us on the edge of our seats so far in the 2022 Formula 1 season.”

New racing options will let you choose between an immersive or broadcast style on race day, alongside returning features like two-player split screen, F2, online multiplayer and more.

Those who pre-order F1 2022 will receive a special Miami-themed content pack with a livery, suit, helmet, gloves, cap, t-shirt and wall art. Moreover, a special Champions Edition will provide three days of early access to the title.

F1 22 heads to Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PS4 and PS5 from 1 July.
