Overwatch League playoffs airing now on USA’s ESPN, ABC

Overwatch League playoffs have begun, and in the USA will air on ESPN, ABC and Disney channels, it was today confirmed.

Playoff matches will air across ESPN, ESPN2, Disney XD, ABC and connected streaming services. Playoff matches, including finals, will be broadcast as well as all of the Overwatch League’s next season.

“We are turning the corner here in terms of our interest and engagement in the Esports category,” ESPN’s John Lasker said in a statement.

“We’ve had an interest and have been watching pretty closely how the first year of the Overwatch League has been progressing, and we’re really excited to be a part of this.”

Overwatch League quarterfinals started at 10.00am AEST today, 12 July. Here in Australia, we’re stuck with watching on Twitch. We’ve embedded today’s stream below:

Overwatch League finals will take place over 27 and 28 July at Brooklyn, NY’s Barclays Center.

Overwatch is currently available on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4.
