Overwatch Contenders Australia 2019 Season 1 has started

Overwatch Contenders Australia 2019 Season 1 has kicked off today, offering the chance for some intense local competition.

The season kicks off today, 25 February, from 3.00 pm AEDT (running until 7.00 pm AEDT). Action takes place each Monday and Wednesday until 10 April, with Wednesday’s matches taking place over 11.00 am – 3.00 pm AEDT.

Eight teams — Sydney Drop Bears, ORDER, Athletico Esports, HEIST Gaming Club, Melbourne Mavericks, Blank Esports, Legacy Esports and Mindfreak G — will take part in Contenders Australia, all fighting for a chunk of the $100,000 USD prize pool. The Drop Bears are the team to beat, taking the last three competitions with relative ease.
