The Elder Scroll Online lands 772,374 subscribers since launch

SuperDataResearch has recently published its latest digital games report and it’s revealed that The Elder Scrolls Online has acquired 772,374 subscribers since launch in April.

Despite an overall downward trend in revenue for subscription based online gaming — $30.4 million in 2010 down to $23.4 million in 2014 — ESO has managed to increase average revenue per subscriber.

The World of Warcraft remains the undisputed king of subscription based MMOs with $1 billion in yearly revenue with Lineage a distant second earning $253 million per year.
