EA is bringing a Nissan Silvia Spec R from Need for Speed into real life

EA is celebrating the release of Need for Speed by bringing one car from the game into real life.

By collaborating with the Australian gaming community, Zen Garages, surfboard designer Hayden Cox and street artist DVATE, EA will bring a virtually designed and modified Nissan Silvia Spec R to life.

Fans will be able to vote on what mods should be applied to the vehicle (which includes everything available in the game) for the next five weeks. Every one who votes goes into the draw to win Need for Speed gear.

Zen Garages will be putting the car together, but largely focused on the wheels, Hayden Cox will use his skills in crafting fibreglass to work on the bodykit and DVAT will work on the car’s paint job and graphics.

To keep up to date with the Silvia’s progress check out the official Facebook page.
