Dragon Age Blue Wraith comic continues the franchise

The Dragon Age franchise hasn’t seen a new game since 2014 but will continue in comic book form in 2020 thanks to Dark Horse’s Dragon Age Blue Wraith series.

A three-issue limited series, Blue Wraith will be penned by Nunzio DeFilippis (New X-Men, Dragon Age: Knight Errant) and Christina Weir (Dragon Age: Deception, New X-Men). The series will be pencilled by Fernando Heinz Furukawa (God is Dead), coloured by Michael Atiyeh and feature cover art from Sachin Teng.

Dragon Age: Blue Wraith starts off with the fanatical Qunari seeking to topple the Tevinter mageocracy,” the series’ description reads. “Caught in the middle, one powerful young mage’s desperate search for her father brings her face-to-face with a notorious mage hunter—Fenris, the Blue Wraith.”

Dragon Age: Blue Wraith‘s first issue will be available from 15 January 2020 — take a look at issue #1’s full cover below.

Meanwhile, Dragon Age: The Dread Wolf Rises was announced back in 2018; no word yet on when to expect the next video game in the franchise.
