The Division 2 special editions have recently been detailed and it’s been confirmed that extra stash space is just one benefit that will bestowed to those willing to pay a little extra.
Two of the game’s four special editions come complete with the Elite Agent Pack, a piece of DLC that Ubisoft says provides “additional stash space for your journey.”
Aussie YouTuber Skill Up took to Twitter in anger over the pay-for-space mechanic, hoping that the DLC was incorrectly described. Ubisoft’s Yannick Banchereau, Senior Community Developer, replied that this wasn’t the case.
It's correct. The Ultimate edition and Phoenix Shield editions both include the Elite Agent pack, which contains extra stash space

Banchereau wouldn’t specify how much base space players would receive, nor how much the special editions would add.
Not at the moment. We'll reveal more info on that later

The Division 2 pre-order bonuses
Those who pre-order The Division 2 will also gain access to:
- A private beta (though those who don’t want to pre-order can register for that here)
- The Capitol Defender Pack:
- Hazmat 2.0 outfit
- “Lullaby” legendary SPAS-12 weapon and its endgame blueprint
What do you make of the bonus DLC? It’s not directly pay-to-win, but it is providing an advantage that’s more than a simple cosmetic change. On the other hand, another DLC pack provides access to a special weapon — so what’s the difference?
Moreover, it seems crazy to us that the Dark Zone Edition, with its $170 AUD price point, doesn’t include the Elite Agent Pack — what do you make of that lack of bonus DLC?
The Division 2 heads to Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4 on 25 March 2019. Ben recently previewed the game at Gamescom.
