You can roleplay as Lara Croft in Brisbane tomorrow

A special Shadow of the Tomb Raider event will let those in Brisbane roleplay as Lara Croft tomorrow.

“An immersive and daring green screen experience” will let players unleash their inner Lara between 9.00 am and 6.00 pm over 14 and 15 September at Brisbane’s King George Square.

“Makeup artists will be on site to Lara-fy guests along with wigs, bows and arrows, transforming participants into a fully-fledged action hero,” a press release declared. “Complete with an industrial rock climbing wall, with a green screen twist, their endeavours will then be projected onto giant digital billboards surrounding the square.”

The event is free, though no bookings will be taken — it’s a case of queueing up in order to get ‘er done.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider is available tomorrow, 14 September, on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4. We reviewed the game here and also made a list of tips to consider before you play.
