Digimon Survive has been delayed into 2020, Bandai Namco has confirmed.
The publisher use a Digimon panel at Anime Expo 2019 this past weekend to confirm the delay, saying we should now expect the title sometime next year. Moreover, a special five-minute trailer was shown during the panel; it’s not available online as yet.
Announced back in July 2018, Digimon Survive is a “survival simulation RPG,” that offers two distinct gameplay modes: a “battle part” and a “drama part”. It will feature 2D battles and “classic SRPG style”.
Digimon Survive is planned for a 2020 release on Windows PC, Xbox One, PS4 and Switch in 2019.
