Details emerge from the PS4’s 3.00 update beta

Details regarding new features coming to the PS4 in its 3.00 update have surfaced thanks to a beta tester in Japan.

Posted on NeoGAF by crinale and reported by PocketNews (translated by Gematsu) it appears that in update 3.00 players will be able to broadcast directly to YouTube and post 10 second gameplay videos directly to Twitter.

A new “Events” menu will be added with which players can browse a range of PlayStation related events, participate in them or simply view them. Community will be added to to the Friends menu and will let players find others who share similar likes and interests. Now Playing will allow players to see what their friends are playing and easily and quickly join them and join or create parties.
