In its Q1 2014 earning report Activision revealed that Destiny’s beta will launch in July. Bungie initially planned to have the beta out Autumn 2014, but was pushed back to Winter earlier this year.
Those who pre-order Destiny will gain first access to the beta, with those on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 having earliest access before those playing on Xbox consoles.
Destiny launches for PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One on 9 September.
