Destiny 2 Festival of the Lost 2018 includes a murder mystery

The Destiny 2 Festival of the Lost 2018 event has today been confirmed by Bungie.

As part of its weekly update, Bungie announced that this year’s Festival of the Lost will begin on 16 October (or 17 October for us Aussies), described as “a celebration of lost heroes” and with “a new challenge to tackle.”

According to Bungie, said challenge “includes a costume party [and]… ends with a quest to solve a murder.”

Any guesses on which murder we’ll be solving? We know who offed Cayde-6… so maybe this will be a confirmation of who actually pulled the trigger in the final moments of Forsaken‘s campaign. Time will tell.

Bungie has promised a full reveal of Festival of the Lost 2018 next week.

Destiny 2 Forsaken is currently available on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4.
