Destiny 2 Eververse fix detailed by Bungie

A Destiny 2 Eververse fix was today detailed by developer Bungie.

“We recognize that the scales are tipped too far towards Tess at the moment, and Eververse was never intended to be a substitute for end game content and rewards,” Game Director Christopher Barrett wrote in a new post addressing long-standing concerns.

Barrett promised that Bungie will shift “the balance of new content in favor of activity rewards over Bright Engrams,” including adding Ghosts, ships and Sparrows to achievement reward pools. At present, those three categories of items are only available in Bright Engrams.

Moreover, Bungie promised to “provide a gameplay path to earn Bright Engrams and all contained rewards (including Event Engrams)”, adding that it’s still “investigating changes to XP earn rates.”

What do you make of the changes? Do you think this will help Destiny 2 to feel like Guardians are working towards progress?

Destiny 2 is currently available on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4.
