Dead Rising 4 Capcom Heroes mode is a cosplayers dream

The upcoming Dead Rising 4 Capcom Heroes mode will give protagonist Frank West plenty of reasons to dress up.

In a new video detailing the mode, West is seen cosplaying as Capcom icons Cammy (Street Fighter), Mega Man X (Mega Man) and Sissel (Ghost Trick), though the publisher says there’ll be “over a dozen outfits pulled from the Capcom archives” for him to use.

Moreover, Frank can also dress up as, um, Classic himself alongside Adam the Clown and Zombie Frank.

Capcom Heroes is a new way to play through the events of Dead Rising 4. As Frank makes his way through the campaign, he’ll encounter arcade machines that offer up these changes of costume.

“In addition to using the arcade machines, Frank can purchase some outfits from vendors and unlock others by finding collectibles hidden throughout the world,” Capcom added.

“Players will also want to look for ‘Hero Training’ side missions which award outfit variants and upgrades.”

Capcom Heroes will be available inside Dead Rising 4: Frank’s Big Package when it debuts on PS4 on 5 December. The mode will also be released as a free update on existing versions on Windows PC and Xbox One.

Dead Rising 4 was originally released in December last year; we reviewed it here.
