Dead by Daylight 5th Anniversary event on now

Here's what to expect.

Update: Behaviour Interactive has confirmed that the Dead by Daylight 5th Anniversary event will be extended to 22 July rather than 15 July as previously stated.

“By popular demand: The 5th Anniversary event has been extended to July 22,” Behaviour said in a tweet. “The Rift will also remain open until July 21. The team is still working on a potential fix to performance issues affecting some platforms. We’ll keep you posted as we learn more.”

Original story: The Dead by Daylight 5th Anniversary event is on now, offering survivors and killers alike easy Bloodpoints and bonuses.

Anyone who logs in to the game between now and the event’s end on 16 July will instantly receive 500,000 Bloodpoints and 1,500 Iridescent Shards, instantly, for doing so.

Moreover, a daily login bonus means players can earn up to 9,000 Iridescent Shards by playing Dead by Daylight each day the event is active.

Items like Anniversary Cakes can boost Bloodpoint earning by 105% per player as well (and that’s stackable between all players!) and in-level you’ll be able to find and claim Anniversary Crowns that randomly spawn on the map. Survivors (who aren’t licensed) will need to escape with the crown to claim it, and killers will simply need to claim them in-game.

Dead by Daylight is currently available on Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PS4, PS5 and Switch.
