Dark Souls PC servers “in the process” of being restored, says Bandai Namco

After more than a 100 days, there's hope once again.

Dark Souls PC servers are currently “in the process” of being restored, meaning players will hopefully get the chance to play in co-op or PvP multiplayer modes soon.

After more than 100 days of the servers being offline, Bandai Namco finally provided PC Gamer with a substantial update on progress.

“We are currently in the process of restoring the online servers for the Dark Souls series on PC,” a FromSoftware representative said.

Bandai Namco will bring back servers one game at a time, starting with Dark Souls 3.

“We plan to restore online service for each game progressively, bringing back servers for Dark Souls 3 once we complete the necessary work to correct the problem,” the rep continued. “We will provide additional updates as soon as the restoration schedule is finalized. We want to thank all our players for your patience and understanding as we work to fix this issue.”

A timeframe wasn’t provided. We’ll keep you informed as we learn more of Dark Souls PC servers.
