Netflix made an appearance during Nintendo’s E3 2019 Direct to announce Dark Crystal Age of Resistance Tactics for Switch.
Based on the TV show, which is coming to Netflix later this year, the tactical gameplay shown during the announcement resembles Mario + Rabbids.
“The highly anticipated Netflix series The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance comes to life as a thrilling tactical strategy game,” Nintendo said of the title. “In The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance Tactics, fans can experience the fantasy world of Thra by playing through – and going beyond – the events of the series. Players will even encounter never-seen-before playable characters, stories and environments.”
