Cult of the Lamb Sins of the Flesh is the title’s latest free update, heading to all platforms on 16 January. Here’s what to expect with it.
“In its biggest and most wicked content update yet, the Cult’s tendrils extend even further with a blasphemous beneficence of quests, features, improvements and a deliciously evil new resource that rewards those leaders prepared to yield to the Sins of the Flesh,” publisher Devolver said in a press release.
The update adds new progression systems and complexity into cult management, also providing new paths to follow depending on your own style.
“By following the sinful path, your followers will delight in gluttonous rituals, vain buildings, and wrathful doctrines,” Devolver explained. “Invite your most loyal Followers to the inner circle of Disciples, a revamped levelling system of Follower progression.”
New content also comes in the form of shiny poop. We’ll leave you to ponder what that means.
Timed alongside the new update is a Cult of the Lamb sale; the title can grabbed at a 40% discount between 16-23 January 2024.
Cult of the Lamb is available now on Windows PC via Steam, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PS4, PS5 and Switch. We reviewed it here and awarded it the honour of our Best Indie Game of 2022.
