The CE-33945-4 glitch affecting some PS4s is reportedly fixed

Some PlayStation 4 users were experiencing error code CE-33945-4 which was preventing them from purchasing or playing games on their console.

Speaking to Kotaku, Sony said, “We are aware of this account issue that has affected a very small number of users. We are currently investigating the cause of the issue and have made progress toward a possible solution.”

Users of both NeoGAF and the PlayStation forums reported that they were unable to access any online services, including the PlayStation Store and Netflix. While the exact cause of the error hasn’t been pinpointed as yet, some users believe the cause may be from pre-ordering a digital game on the PlayStation Store and then cancelling through customer support. It’s believed this can lead to a database error.

Some users have suggested that rebuilding the PS4’s database can fix the error.
