Call of Duty: WWII: Female soldiers confirmed for multiplayer

Call of Duty: WWII will feature female soldiers in multiplayer, developer Sledgehammer Games has confirmed.

Sledgehammer co-founder Michael Condrey made the confirmation over Twitter recently.

It’s already been confirmed that you’ll play as a female in the French resistance for a limited portion of WWII‘s single-player campaign.

Call of Duty: WWII will be detailed in full next month,  but we already know quite a bit about the game. It will boast a social space like Destiny, won’t offer self-regenerating health and boasts a new multiplayer co-op mode called War. More on the game can be found here.

Call of Duty: WWII heads to Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4 on 3 November.
