Battlefield Hardline’s plot revolves around a wrongly convicted cop’s revenge

Despite being delayed until 2015Battlefield Hardline is still getting fans excited, especially after it’s recent showing at San Diego Comic-Con where details of the single player were revealed.

According to Polygon, Hardline focuses on two decent and upstanding officers who are framed and end up in prison. To clear their names and put the heat back on the real bad guys, they escape and set off on a path of justice. The footage shown at Comic-Con reportedly included urban environments and a desert. It’s in the latter that protagonist Nick is seen interrupting a massive cocaine shipment in a warehouse controlled by villain Roark.

Hardline features an ensemble cast with the likes of Eugene Byrd (Bones), Kelly Hu (Arrow) and Benito Martinez (Sons of Anarchy) and Mark Rolston (The Departed) playing Roark.

Battlefield Hardline will be available for PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One in 2015.
