EA has jumped the gun a little early, releasing the Battlefield 1 Gamescom gameplay trailer a couple of days before the German convention.
As promised, the 1:55 trailer is comprised of new in-game footage. It offers our first real look at how horses will play in combat, a component merely teased during the reveal event, as well as takedowns using a sword.

The trailer is big on vehicles, with plenty of screen time dedicated to plane dogfights and bombing runs, as well as tanks and a heavily armoured train.
Towards the end there’s an extremely short clip that we assume is from the single-player campaign — you know, the one DICE hasn’t spoken about. Expect a lot more information about Battlefield 1 to emerge from Gamescom this week.
