Check out these discounts and demos.

There’s a host of sweet deals and free demos for Aussie games on Steam thanks to Melbourne International Games Week’s (MIGW) Steam Festival.

Steam Festival is a celebration of Australian developers and a showcase of their work that includes a number of speaking events, gameplay demos and best of all, bargains.

OzBargain user luisvsm posted a complete breakdown of all the current discounts on home-grown favourites including Untitled Goose Game, Screencheat and Armello.

Discounts range from anywhere between 15-90% off across a range of titles spanning heaps of genres so chances are, there’s something there for you.

For those of you looking to try before you buy, there’s also a number of free demos for upcoming titles developed in Australia. You can check them out here:

The Steam Festival is coming to an end soon so if you’ve been meaning to snap up some Aussie games for cheap, now’s the time.

Since 2020, I've written about videogames in whatever capacity my journalism studies have allowed.

When I'm not plugged in to whatever open-world, action-adventure is the flavour of the month, I'm painting Warhammer miniatures and role-playing a bard in D&D.
