Assassin’s Creed Valhalla won’t get Steam Achievements

Sadface.

While Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is now available on Windows PC via Steam, it won’t be getting Steam Achievements support.

Ubisoft made the confirmation after Steam users were left wondering why the title was missing them at its 6 December release.

“As there has been a lot of speculation – just to officially confirm. Steam Achievements are not supported for this title,” Ubisoft said in a Steam forum post. “Apologies for any disappointment caused by this and we hope you can still enjoy the game.”

Instead, any Achievements earned while playing on Steam will be unlocked inside Ubisoft Connect.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is currently available on Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PS4 and PS5.
