Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Norden’s Arc Isu bow discovered by brute force

"This is a clever brute force hack," says Valhalla's Narrative Director.

A special Assassin’s Creed Vallhalla Norden’s Arc Isu bow has been discovered by sheer brute force.

YouTuber JorRaptor discovered that if you wail on a small pile of rocks in the northern bit of Valhalla’s European map, you’ll have a chance to unlock the bow. If not? Save, reload and try again. It’ll eventually pop.

“FYI this is a clever brute force hack, not the ‘proper’ way to get this bow,” Vallhalla‘s Narrative Director, Darby McDevitt said on Twitter in regards to JorRaptor’s discovery. “There is an ‘in world’ way to achieve it. But I suppose this works for an Any% Speedrun.”

Later, McDevitt confirmed that, “Someone almost has” found the proper way to gain access to the weapon as well.

JorRaptor shows you how you can get the Norden’s Arc Isu bow in the video below.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is currently available on Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S & X, PS4, PS5 and Stadia.

Update: The proper way to grab the bow has now been discovered.

Players will need to have already found Excalibur (surprise!) and then travel to a large lake in Eurvicscire. There, you’ll need to find a pile of rocks (sound famililar?) and attempt to break them as the sun sets. A video below shows how it’s done.
