Assassin’s Creed Mirage to be detailed next week

Ubisoft confirms the game after several leaks.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage has been confirmed by Ubisoft after a series of leaks, with the publisher promising to detail the title next week at Ubisoft Forward.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage is the next Assassin’s Creed game,” Ubisoft said on Twitter, also posting the artwork you see above.

The confirmation comes after a series of leaks that suggest Mirage will be set in Baghdad and feature Basim Ibn Ishaq from Assassin’s Creed Valhalla as its protagonist. Moreover, the title will be less of an open-word affair and will instead feature a focused storyline with an emphasis on stealth. Bloomberg reports that the title is expected in May or June of next year.

We don’t have long to wait to find out which rumours were true — Mirage will be featured as part of Ubisoft Forward, which kicks off at 5.00 am AEST on 11 September.

In the meantime, are you excited for Assassin’s Creed Mirage?
