Moving Out Achievement Guide: All hidden consoles & objectives

Moving Out is about to drop on Windows PC, Xbox One, PS4 and Switch and we’ve got a handy Achievement and Trophy guide that will work on PC, Xbox One and PS4. On Switch, you can use this guide to gain the satisfaction of fully completing the game (to 111%!).

We’ve broken our guide into the actions that need to be taken with each level of Moving Out, alongside a listing of levels (and times) required for subsequent modes. It’s easiest to accomplish most in-game Story mode tasks alone and using Assisted Mode to give more time for gold medals, lighter objects and more.

Mandatory Training

• Achievement progress: Slap the mailbox near the end
• Unique Achievement: Completing this level will give you an awful 1 Gamescore Achievement called Totally Certified

Holly’s Home

• Achievement progress: Slap the mailbox out front, stand on the toilet
• Unique Achievements: Completing this level with a gold medal and completing all bonus objectives will give you the An Eye for the Details and Golden Mover Achievements
• Hidden console location: Far left back corner, in front of the truck and in a bush
• Bonus Objectives: Break the windows, Don’t break any windows, Bring the flamingos
• Time required for Gold medal: 5:00 (Assisted mode, solo)

Pepperoni Palace

• Achievement progress: Slap mailbox, stand on toilet, deliver pet turtle
• Hidden console location: Outside, under the picnic table in the back left corner
• Bonus Objectives: Goal! (put the soccer ball in the net), Deliver the turtle, Don’t break the vase
• Time required for Gold medal: 6:30 (Assisted mode, solo)

The Hoop House

• Achievement progress: Slap mailbox, stand on toilet, deliver pet chicken
• Unique Achievement: Shoot a basket for The Bird Achievement
• Hidden console location: Outside, in the hammock in the back left corner
• Bonus Objectives: Shoot some hoops, Pets stay outside!, Don’t break any windows
• Time required for Gold medal: 6:30 (Assisted mode, solo)

Poolside Pad

• Achievement progress: Stand on toilet
• Hidden console location: Bottom left corner of kitchen (it blends in with the countertop)
• Bonus Objectives: Don’t hold a box for more than 3 seconds, Keep everything dry, Jump over the pool (done with three people — one stands on chair while two throw it; done with one person by carefully balancing chair on edge of pool and jumping on it, then over)
• Time required for Gold medal: 5:00 (Assisted mode, solo)

Jerry’s Apartment

• Achievement progress: Slap mailbox, Stand on toilet
• Hidden console location: Bottom corner of bathroom, beside the green bathtub
• Bonus Objectives: Don’t break any glass, Don’t break any objects, Give a bird a bath (put a flamingo in the bathtub)
• Time required for Gold medal: 5:00 (Assisted mode, solo)

Case de Cliff

• Achievement progress: Slap mailbox, stand on toilet, deliver pet goose
• Hidden console location: Far right hand corner of the building, underneath the red car that’s used as a shortcut
• Bonus Objectives: Who let the goose out? (he’s behind the red door by mailbox), No stairs for you! (use the ledges to get into the far left room and use that), Break the windows
• Time required for Gold medal: 6:00 (Assisted mode, solo)

Summer Chalet

• Achievement progress: Slap mailbox, toilet (this is hard to see, along the bottom-right side of the bathroom)
• Hidden console location: Bottom corner of bedroom with cat clock (above the basketball hoop that’s outside)
• Bonus Objectives: No stair run, Go snowboarding, Avoid the snow
• Time required for Gold medal: 6:00 (Assisted mode, solo)

21 Slick Street

• Achievement progress: Slap mailbox, stand on toilet, deliver pet sheep
• Hidden console location: In the garage to the left of the red car
• Bonus Objectives: Don’t get hit by a car, Mess up the trophies, Don’t get oily
• Time required for Gold medal: 6:00 (Assisted mode, solo)

Snottsberry Farm

• Achievement progress: Deliver all pet animals
• Hidden console location: Top centre corner of the upper area of the barn, behind hay bales
• Bonus Objectives: Disturb the nests (knock all the eggs out of nests), Avoid the rakes, Make some pen pals (put all the animals in the pig pen at the back right)
• Time required for Gold medal: 6:30 (Assisted mode, solo)

Packmore River

• Achievement progress: Deliver pet frog
• Unique Achievements: Get hit by cars 125 times for the Look Left, Then Right Achivement. You’ll also get Moving On Up with 10 Gold medals so far.
• eHidden console location: Bottom side of the river, on the left hand side near a bush
• Bonus Objectives: Ride a croc, Get hit by a caffeinated driver (look for cars with coffee mugs on top of them), Bring the frog to the other side (move slowly and it will follow you — put it in the truck but be aware that every time you head to the very bottom of the screen the frog will respawn)
• Time required for Gold medal: 4:30 (Assisted mode, solo)

The AAAAAH-tari Office

• Achievement progress: Do not slap any ghosts
• Hidden console location: Behind the trolley — bottom centre of map
• Bonus Objectives: Don’t break any windows, Put the printer in the lift, Deliver the trolley
• Time required for Gold medal: 7:00 (Assisted mode, solo)

Dread Manor

• Achievement progress: Do not slap any ghosts
• Hidden console location: Bottom left corner of upper room with piano in it
• Bonus Objectives: Bust-a-ghost (go back and slap this one after you get the Achievement for not slapping any of them!), Deliver me his head! (This is the head of the centre statue of armour), Mess up the artwork (There are 8 paintings on the upper floor)
• Time required for Gold medal: 7:00 (Assisted mode, solo)

Roundabout Mansion

• Achievement progress: Do not slap any ghosts, stand on toilet
• Unique Achievement: Leaving all the ghosts alone up to this point will give you the The Friendly Ghosts Achievement
• Hidden console location: Bottom left corner of the white-floored room with lots of sculptures in it
• Bonus Objectives: Hop across the pond, Don’t mess up any artwork, No ghost hugs
• Time required for Gold medal: 7:00 (Assisted mode, solo)

Obadiah’s Orchard

• Achievement progress: Stand on outhouse toilet, deliver pet chicken
• Unique Achievement: Drive behind the Orchard on the world map to hit the mailbox and get the You Don’t Got Mail Achievement

• Hidden console location: In the bales of hay just above the truck
• Bonus Objectives: Avoid all the rakes, Don’t break the fragile item, Ride the turtles (all four)
• Time required for Gold medal: 6:00 (Assisted mode, solo)

Lenny’s Mansion

• Achievement progress: Stand on toilet
• Hidden console location: In the corner to the right of the front door (in the wooded area)
• Bonus Objectives: Clear the pier, Don’t step on any buttons, Smash the trophy case
• Time required for Gold medal: 7:00 (Assisted mode, solo)

Neighbourhood Watch HQ

• Achievement progress: Slap mailbox, deliver pet chickens
• Hidden console location: In the garage beside the big plush giraffe
• Bonus Objectives: Help a chicken fly, Keep the chickens off the grass (block far right hole with bed or other large object), Discover the weird secret (slap the mailbox, then inspect the conspiracy theory board in the garage)
• Time required for Gold medal: 6:30 (Assisted mode, solo)

Deserted Depot

• Achievement progress: None
• Hidden console location: Behind the yellow/orange couch in the room with the t-shaped boxes
• Bonus Objectives: Use only the middle delivery lane (bottom-half of screen ones are okay), Deliver all boxes first (JUST the 1×1 boxes, not the Tetris-shaped ones), Deliver all couches first (both 1- and 2-seater)
• Time required for Gold medal: 5:00 (Assisted mode, solo)

Sealed Storehouse

• Achievement progress: None
• Hidden console location: Top-leftmost office in the bottom corner (the green garbage bins are right outside)
• Bonus Objectives: Deliver all small crates first, Get a workout (run on a conveyor until the notification pops), Don’t take any items through the door (items LITERALLY cannot touch a door, be them with you or not; be careful not to open a door into an item either as this sucky objective will fail at that point)
• Time required for Gold medal: 6:30 (Assisted mode, solo)

Locked Lever Lab

• Achievement progress: None
• Hidden console location: Topmost office in the back left corner
• Bonus Objectives: Smash the windows, Take the couch outside (far left of map), Use the levers only two times (the room you start in; move all the stuff out of the room with the couch, then use that lever)
• Time required for Gold medal: 6:00 (Assisted mode, solo)

Flamethrower Factory

• Achievement progress: None
• Unique Achievement: You’ll get PHD in Moving for 20 Gold medals so far.
• Hidden console location: Bottom corner of the “5 days with an accident” room
• Bonus Objectives: Don’t destroy any crates, Don’t stand on the conveyor, Crush the Couch
• Time required for Gold medal: 7:00 (Assisted mode, solo)

The Chase

• Achievement progress: Deliver pet chickens
• Unique Achievement: Complete level for Choo Choo Achievement
• Hidden console location: On the green truck before moving the first couch
• Bonus Objectives: Don’t fall from the train, Complete the gaming area (bring the white console from the first car to the last car), Send a message Gnome (throw the Gnome at the radio tower accessible on the right-hand side of the train car; this takes a lot of timing, so keep at it!)
• Time required for Gold medal: 5:00 (Assisted mode, solo)

The Floor is Guava

• Achievement progress: None
• Hidden console location: Bottom corner of the right-most room
• Bonus Objectives: Don’t let items touch the guava, Ride the barrel (stay on until notification pops), Don’t touch the blue platforms (square icon platforms)
• Time required for Gold medal: 6:00 (Assisted mode, solo)

Stairway to Melon

• Achievement progress: None
• Hidden console location: A platform in the guava just at the moving truck. Very hard to miss.
• Bonus Objectives: Take a shower, Hit the pipe (throw a crate in the exposed pipe on the right), Break all glass
• Time required for Gold medal: 6:30 (Assisted mode, solo)

Guava Run

• Achievement progress: None
• Hidden console location: Just above the truck
• Bonus Objectives: Don’t touch the guava, Get pushed and survive (either take your chances and jump aiming for the leftmost platforms or grab a heavy tube and let that get hit by the push-arm as you’re closest to the moving truck), Ahh Push It… (hit the button on the wall that’s positioned over the pushy-arm; we used a small tube)
• Time required for Gold medal: 6:00 (Assisted mode, solo)

Satellite Base Alpha

• Achievement progress: None
• Hidden console location: On the far left puzzle section, one wall before the bottommost green tube/piece
• Bonus Objectives: Who delivers the deliverer? (use a tube to hit the button and open the trap door, then jump in), I’m the fire jumper (jump over the fire leading to the left side puzzle room), Deliver each item separately
• Time required for Gold medal: 7:00 (Assisted mode, solo)

Revolution Station

• Achievement progress: None
• Hidden console location: Bottom left corner (in the pink section)
• Bonus Objectives: Crush a thing (stick a tube between two rotating walls), Deliver everything via the left door (that’s the FAR left door, not the middle-left door), Don’t touch the moving walls
• Time required for Gold medal: 6:00 (Assisted mode, solo)

Guavatron

• Achievement progress: Stand on toilet, deliver pet sheep
• Unique Achievement: The last pet will give you the Animal Lover Achievement
• Hidden console location: Back behind the cliff at the top, behind the tv/entertainment station
• Bonus Objectives: Don’t use the levers, Deliver the boxes & avoid the guavatron, Take the sheep home
• Time required for Gold medal: 7:00 (Assisted mode, solo)

Contraband Cluster

• Achievement progress: None
• Hidden console location: Behind the brick wall closest to the leftmost fan
• Bonus Objectives: Don’t use the middle fan, Don’t use the levers, Float for 10 seconds
• Time required for Gold medal: 5:30 (Assisted mode, solo)

Pack Rat Planet

• Achievement progress: Stand on toilet, Mailbox (by yellow button, not circled in picture above)
• Unique Achievement: Your last toilet will give you the Where We’re Going We Don’t Need Thrones Achievement
• Hidden console location: On top of the toilet blocked by the spinning fire things
• Bonus Objectives: Hit a basketball shot (you can use the soccer ball and the leftmost fan on the basketball hoop), Sit on the throne (toilet), Take printer for a spin (in the middle spinny thing)
• Time required for Gold medal: 7:00 (Assisted mode, solo)

The Final Move?

• Achievement progress: Slap mailbox in cutscene AFTER boss battle
• Unique Achievement: Your last mailbox will give you the Rain, Hail or Shine. Achievement. Your last gold medal will give you the Who’s the Boss?, Certified F.A.R.T. and Masters of Moving Achievements.
• Hidden console location: Will be dropped in the centre of the arena in the middle of the fight
• Bonus Objectives: Get squished by the outhouse (first thing that drops in the bottom right of arena immediately after flaming fists), Throw something at the rat (use the hidden console before you deliver it), Surive (continuously; stay on the grass until the notification pops — it’s best to do this without carrying anything)
• Time required for Gold medal: 8:00 (Assisted mode, solo)

• The Packmore Small Business Soccer League Semi-Finals: Use this to get the Minute Mover Achievement for beating a level in under 1 minute
• The Boulder Dash
• The Traffic Jam of ’82: I had to restart this several times because of buggy cars
• The Haunted Labyrinth
• The Legend of Rake Island
• The Great Flood of ’83
• Shredding Season: We used this to get the Quality Over Quantity Achievement for delivering 1337 items
• The Cash Box Incident
• The Jam in Space: Use this to get the Minute Mover Achievement for beating a level in under 1 minute
• The Mysterious Client Caper Reveal
• The Parade for the Greatest Moving Company in Packmore History

Completing all Arcade levels will give you the Remember the Time Achievement.
