Microsoft Flight Simulator Editions explained: What’s in each

Unsure of which version of Microsoft Flight Simulator to buy (or simply download with your Xbox Game Pass subscription) come 18 August? We’ve got you covered below, Windows PC users, with a handy guide on what to expect from the game’s three editions.

Microsoft Flight Simulator Standard Edition

The Standard Edition of Microsoft Flight Simulator comes with 20 planes, 30 enhanced airports and is priced at $59.99 USD or $99.95 AUD. This is the version that those who subscribe to Xbox Game Pass for PC (or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate) will receive at no additional cost.
