“So in this pack, I have a secret soft spot for FixyText,” Jackbox Games’ Mike Bilder told Stevivor at PAX AUS.
“Have you ever been in a Google Doc with multiple people at the same time? Chaos kind of ensues,” he continued.
“You’re all trolling each others edits and making them sound different or rewriting things. That’s the core mechanic of this game. It’s it’s like group text. Multiple people are in at the same time, editing them at the same time. It’s very chaotic and it it’s one of those games where I laugh out loud every time I play.
“To me, that’s a measure of a great job.”
After spending eight hours a day with others editing documents in Sharepoint, that kinda thing didn’t necessarily sound that fun to me. Bilder did his best to reassure me.
“It’s not too much,” he replied. “It’s just chaos and ridiculousness.”
