Eidos “not saying no” to a Deus Ex: Mankind Divided dev commentary track

While speaking with Deus Ex’ Executive Narrative Director, Mary DeMarle, and Brand Manager, Rodney Lelu, at PAX AUS recently, the pair all but confirmed that a developer commentary will be included with Deus Ex: Mankind Divided.

We asked the pair about the possibility of a commentary for the upcoming title as we enjoyed the feature so much in Deus Ex: Human Revolution Director’s Cut.

“I don’t know! Honestly, I don’t know,” DeMarle responded when Stevivor asked if Mankind Divided would feature such a track. DeMarle was involved in the Human Revolution commentary along with Lead Artist Jonathan Jacques-Belletête, Director Jean-François Dugas and Audio Director Steve Szczepkowski.

“We may have other plans,. I’m not saying no, but we may have… other plans to propose commentary in another way,” Lulu added. “We’ll speak more about that later, I don’t want to spoil the surprise.”

As soon as any official announcements are made regarding some form of developer commentary, we’ll be sure to update you.
