PS5 loading times compared to PS4 Pro

Stevivor’s putting the PS5 through its paces, and as part of it all, we’ve timed loading speeds across it as compared to the PS4 Pro.

The PS5 sports a custom 825GB SSD that promises blistering speeds. Below, we’ve timed a series of PS4 games on PS4 Pro alongside their counterparts on PS5 using backwards compatibility. Every game below was launched from the internal drive of the console, so the PS4 Pro’s HDD and the PS5’s SSD.

Videos will accompany our timings so you can check it all out for yourself. The timings below begin with minutes, then seconds, then milliseconds.
