Part three of the Evolution of PlayStation series from Sony is all about the PlayStation 3. The last console to be released in the current generation, the PS3 suffered initially with a high price tag and a fairly poor launch line-up. Over time the PS3 managed to catch-up in sales to the Xbox 360 and eventually came into its own. Even now, as the PS4 is about to be announced the future is bright for PS3.
