Young Justice, season 3: Take a look at new character designs

DC Comics used Comic-Con International to show off new designs for Young Justice‘s heroes.

The animated television show, soon to return to the air for season three, sports older, matured versions of our favourite teenage crime fighters.

Here’s a closer look at the shot above, thanks to IGN. From left to right: Static, Kid Flash, Robin, Wonder Girl, Spoiler, Blue Beetle, Thirteen, Arrowette, Arsenal and Beast Boy.

A considerable amount of time has passed in-world — about the same time between seasons two and three in the real world. This means Stephanie Brown’s had enough time to develop into Spoiler, and the young girl Artemis saved near the end of season two has grown up to become the new Arrowette.

Speaking of Artemis, she’s been confirmed to return to the series alongside other original members Superboy, Aqualad and Nightwing.

Young Justice: Outsiders, the show’s third season, will air from 26 November.
