Xbox controllers may add DualSense features, says Spencer

That's fine, but we can leave triggers as-is?

Xbox controllers may add new functionality currently available on the PS5’s DualSense controller, Phil Spencer has recently said.

“We’re definitely thinking about different kinds of devices that can bring more games to more places. There’s probably some work we’ll do on [our] controller,” Spencer said to Kinda Funny.

“I think Sony’s done a nice job with their controller, we kind of look at some of that [and think] ‘Are there things that we should go do?'”

Microsoft has been paying attention to the DualSense’s new functionality for some time now; in January, the company used a survey to ask Xbox owners if they’d like things like adaptive triggers and haptic feedback in Xbox controllers.

If you ask us, we’ll take a dedicated Share button on Elite controllers alongside haptic feedback… but adaptive triggers can remain a PlayStation novelty. What do you think?
