WWE 2K15 will have over $50 worth of DLC available post launch

2K has announced the swathe of content that will be available for WWE 2K15 after it launches later this month on last-gen and next month on current-gen.

The planned DLC includes “Accelerator”, three separate “2K Showcase” packs, “WCW Pack”, “NXT Arrival” and “New Moves Pack.” Season pass holders will gain access to WWE Diva Paige, “Accelerator” and all three “2K Showcase” packs.

“Accelerator” grants players access to all unlockable content and will cost $2.65 AUD. The three “2K Showcase” packs are “One More Match”, “Hall of Pain” and “Path of the Warrior.” “One More Match” includes a story based on the rivalry between Randy Orton and Christian in 2011, playable characters Christian, Randy Orton, Mark Henry and Sheamus and new arenas.

“Hall of Pain” includes a story based on Mark Henry’s best matches, playable characters Mark Henry, Big Show, Kane, Jey Uso, Jimmy Uso, Sheamus, The Great Khali, Randy Orton, Daniel Bryan and Ryback and new playable arenas.

“Path of the Warrior” includes a story based on the career of Ultimate Warrior, playable characters Ultimate Warrior, Hulk Hogan, Andre the Giant, Sgt. Slaughter, Honky Tonk Man, Rick Rude, Macho King, Colonel Mustafa, Undertaker and Hunter Heart Helmsley and new playable arenas. Each of the “2K Showcase” packs will retail for $13.45 AUD.

The “WCW Pack” and “NXT Pack” feature several playable characters including Lex Luger, Fit Finlay, Adam Rose, JBL and more. The former costing $10.65 AUD and the latter $9.35 AUD. The “New Moves Pack” adds 30 moves and will cost $5.35 AUD.

Now that is a fair whack of DLC. It should keep even the most ardent of WWE fans happy and busy.

WWE 2K15 will be available for PS3 and Xbox 360 on 28 October and for PS4 and Xbox One on 18 November.
