Wolfenstein Youngblood release date set for July

Alongside new of its Deluxe Edition, Buddy Pass and pre-order bonuses.

The Wolfenstein Youngblood release date was today confirmed by Bethesda, alongside details of the game’s Deluxe Edition.

Players can expect the Wolfenstein spin-off, starring BJ Blazkowicz’s twin daughters Jess and Soph, from 26 July across Windows PC, Xbox One, PS4 and Switch.

Deluxe Edition and Buddy Pass

Moreover, the Deluxe Edition of Wolfenstein: Youngblood comes with a Buddy Pass which will allow a friend to play the co-op title without the need to purchase the game.

“Wolves hunt together, and the Wolfenstein: Youngblood Deluxe Edition’s Buddy Pass will allow owners to partner up with a friend, even if the friend doesn’t own the game. Deluxe Edition owners will be able to provide their exclusive Buddy Pass to one friend at a time, allowing them to download and play Wolfenstein: Youngblood for free, as long as they play with the owner of the Deluxe Edition,” Bethesda said, explaining the feature. “Players that are playing for free on the Buddy Pass can choose to upgrade to the full game at any time to play on their own or with other players online.”

The Deluxe Edition also includes the Cyborg Skin pack, which contains:

  • Cyborg player skin
  • Titanium alloy skins for all weapons
  • Titanium alloy hatchet
  • Titanium alloy knife
  • Armor-boosting pep signal

Pre-order bonuses

Bethesda also include pre-order bonuses for Wolfenstein: Youngblood. They include:

  • The Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus Jacket Power Suit
  • B.J.’s US Army Power Suit
  • The Wolfenstein: Old Blood Pipe
  • The Wolfenstein: Old Blood Knife
  • A WW2 Weapon Skin Set for all ranged weapons

Wolfenstein: Youngblood heads to Windows PC, Xbox One, PS4 and Switch on 26 July.
